hey yo... I'M BBBAAAACCCKKK.. yes. good to be back. manz.. i officially hate the descending part of a flight. i like the idea that i'm gonna be back on solid ground, but i hate the getting there part. makes me feel... nauseous. beats me why, but i spent 15 min in the toilet barfing once i got off the plane, said hi to the beef steak i had for lunch. (ew). (the plane taxi-d for 12 min from terminal 1 to 2 which did not help one bit). mmm.. shanghai was good.
manz.. did so much shoppping.. i love it when i can bargain. fun fun fun. went to xiang yang market for my buys as usual. then went to some small shop at pudong for vcds and dvds, was a bit disappointed, the quality was not as good as the ones sold at Ka De Club back in puxi. but oh well, i don't really mind THAT MUCH. yes. food was awesome AS ALWAYS. shanghai food rocks. sightseeing too. lots of it .. ok, let's see...
shopping: time square (pudong), xiang yang market, nan jing dong lu, didn't get to go mao ming lu this time though. sad sad.
food: ding tai fung (for the BEST xiao long baos), sophia's tea house (just off huang shan lu, i think), nan jing xi lu, dong fang (for awesome dumplings), rui fu yuan jiu jia (jing xian lu), this restaurant, i can't remember the name in mandarin but in english it's called: sincere restaurant (times square, pudong)
sight-seeing: went to hangzhou, which is a 3 hour drive out of shanghai, real green there, it's practically forest, pretty, and they got lakes all over the place and went to the silk museum. the only official one in china apparently. we went on top the dong fa ming zhu (china's tv station) the view was.. WOW... then we went to yu yuan = jade garden, real nice, but some parts were in the middle of reconstruction, i've only seen it during winter, so it was a nice change to see what it looks like at the end of summer, beginning of autumn period.
lots of fun. haha. go china. it's nice.
what iAMY has to sing, has been heard.
